Membership

Every human being is welcomed and encouraged to be part of PoH. Furthermore, every member is encouraged to help others register too.

However, being part of the Alliance is a different path. Every member gets invited by another member. Why? Because we hire as community stewards only those humans that have proven commitment to the DAO. How is commitment proven? When you help someone in the Chats and Forums. It is noticed. If you are participating in Discord and helping people there, you will receive reputation points, if you are in Telegram you will not, but we will still contact you or you can contact us.

The process for accepting a member can be achieved in two ways. Either by becoming an Apprentice or by being invited. The steps to becoming a member through invitation are the following:

1. Either you are contacted or you publish in the#Propuestas

   channel your public request to become a member of the Alliance.

2. A member (called Rebel) needs to champion you, recommending to the Alliance your invitation, by naming the evidence of your commitment and values.

3. Any Rebel of the Alliance summons a vote in the#Encuestaschannel. The vote should carry the name of the person, at least one evidence of his/her honor, and the Rebel's name championing.

4. The vote has a duration of 24 hrs.

5. A simple majority should reign for the case of accepting the invitation of somebody. However, if the vote gets at least one block, then the vouching Rebel needs to provide further evidence or elaboration of why this person will add value to the Alliance. Every initiated Rebel will receive a badge signaling its commitment level to the Alliance. See the Badges section for more information.
